Where to eat in Tangier: restaurants, cafés and local dishes

Restaurants and cafés listed in published guides, with their source, followed by local dishes to try. None of these addresses has yet been tested by our team: check opening hours and prices before you go.

Restaurants and cafés

The $ to $$$$ symbols are taken as they are from the list of Tangier restaurants published by Fodor's Travel: $ marks the least expensive places and $$$$ the most expensive. On that page Fodor's does not give the equivalent in dirhams, so this ranking compares the places with one another without giving a price. The three kinds of addresses are never mixed up: visited (tested by our team, none so far), researched from a source (all the addresses below) and speciality to try (further down).
